Getting the fit right.

Five numbers decide whether a wheel fits. You do not need to know them walking in; bring the vehicle and the team will check.

Diameter and width

A 20×9 wheel is 20 inches across and 9 inches wide. Both have to suit the tire you want and the room in the wheel well.

Bolt pattern

6×135 means six studs on a 135 mm circle. It has to match the hub exactly.

Offset

How far the mounting face sits from the centreline of the wheel, in millimetres. A lower or negative number pushes the wheel outward.

Centre bore

The hole in the middle that locates the wheel on the hub. Too small will not fit; too large needs the right ring.

Load rating

Every wheel is rated to carry a set weight. A truck that tows or hauls needs wheels rated for it.
